If you do have the DLC you will be immediately taken to a room where which everyone has the maps. If you don't have them then you are taken to a room where everyone does not have the maps.
The servers are still split up just like they were in the Variety MP servers, but they just integrated them into every gametype. So if you do have the maps you will play with people who have them and no one who does not have them.
There is no alienating, or booting going on. People are just being split up in matchmaking according to whether they have the maps or not.

All you have to do is ask the people in the room if they have them or not, almost all the time if i ask they all have it, cause I have it. If I'm in a party with someone who does not have them, the other people won't have them, some may depends on if they are in a party with someone who does not have them.
The new maps also suck.
