It appears these were taken from EGM, although I'm not sure.
The site I got them from has a brief description of Confrontation, but it was translated into very poor English. Other than these screens, no information was given that we don't already know.
Notice the fourth picture. One of the players actually has his weapon's bipod set up on that box. Awesome.

The P90 returns. Crap. But so does the flappy boonie hat... a win there.
Overall, I like the look of the game. The characters don't look as good as CoD4's soldiers, but they are perfectly functional. The same goes for the maps- the first one looks reasonably close to a screen from Assasin's Creed, which is quite impressive in an FPS.

Regarding the dLoadable content. I lol so hard it's not even funny. If Seth and Zipper/S6 keep DLC going at a good rate for 6 months, then I'll believe em. But, until then I t believe Socom and DLC is a major laugh out loud.
Yeah screens look pretty good. Seeings as how the game isn't coming out for eons, I expect the screens and such do look even that much better upon release.

Good point, and I couldn't agree with you more.
But I will remain optimistic until then... simply because Zipper won't be there to majorly eff up this new "version" of the series, a la Socom 3.
