Looks like microsoft is sending me out a package for my XBOX 360. I also acted like a racist *** on the phone and they are sending me one month free of XBOX LIVE! All I said was, "Can you get me on the line with someone who isn't speaking arabic?"

I felt bad, but I read on wikipedia about compensation, so I thought I'd make myself sound pissed off. It works!

If it breaks down again, I might get a new controller too!

Hate to burst your bubble, but they send everyone a free month of Xbox Live when you have to send in your console for repairs.

That sucks. I wonder how many people like me call that very same guy and treat him like crap in the hopes of getting free stuff. It probably kills him... emotionally.

Don't worry. Those people go through rigorous training to become MS support. Microsoft completely demolishes their feelings and their ability to think. They feel no pain. They get their usual support responses stamped into their brain.

Now whenever their loved ones ask what is wrong, they say "Unplug everything and plug it back in".

Midnight I am un the U.S. so i dont know the time it will take you. My 360 was doing the same things as yours. It was just getting worse by the day. Eventually a game froze i believe it was Oblivion and when I went to restart RROD. I used the "towel" trick and it worked for a few days anyway. When i sent my 360 in to Texas it didnt actually have a RROD. Because of the towel trick. I wasnt charged anything because I told the support people over the phone it was a RROD. At the time i wasnt lying. I doubt Microsoft even checks the problem of your 360. Most likly they will just send you a refurb. It took me about 3 weeks. According to UPS's website they had my 360 for one day before sending me a refurb. All my wait time was just because of shipping. So if you pay for better shipping it will be quicker. Just call MS support and tell them its RROD. Or just wait until it is because its going to happen. Peace

I haven't had any problems with my Elite which I bought the day it came out *Touch wood*. I'm starting to get paranoid that it'll break the day before GTA4 comes out, that would be soul destroying.
