You can buy the regular edition for $50 and spend about 20 minutes downloading the maps for $10 or just buy the special edition for $60 straight.

Either way, same price, they just do it as a marketing thing making you think you're getting a good deal when it's just the same deal.

that link claims you don't get the maps included in the game, you get a code to download the map pack for free. so you still have to sit around downloading the maps for 20 minutes.

"Features
Includes a code that lets you download your first map pack for free; maps include Creek, Broadcast, Chinatown and Killhouse"

Doesn't matter, pretty much after today the new maps aren't going to be seen, as soon as someone who doesn't have them joins, they aren't in the playlist.

What the hell is the point in that?!

They really need to fix that and get something out there to separate those with the new maps from those without.

I'm glad I decided not to excite myself over the maps now. Thanks for the info.

Go buy it. It is one of the best game's for the 360 and the PS3. The campaign is very fun to play, and has one of the best stories, right up with GTA. The online is really where it's at, there's so many maps, and gamemodes, you'll have fun on it for a really long time. It's a defenite buy no doubt about it.
