All this, and I don't even camp, I actually hate campers, hahaha
Awesome.

Do you have anything to add that could possibly add to any of the list on the first two pages? If you're not or not going to discuss them why even bother posting or viewing the thread for that matter?

Ok Dude, seriosouy! Anytime anyone posts anything this is contraire to what you believe, you pull out the BS "if your not going to post anything that I think is right, then don't...wait, I mean if your not going to post anything...Blah Blah". There has been many people not posting anything to talk about the topic at hand, give me a break my man.

You need to lighten the #$&^ up. Oh I almost forgot, don't ever tell me what to post and what not to post.

I guess you're not going to add anything....

All you've been doing is practically complaining about people complaining. You've proved you're point about how you don't like whiners about campers. Now do us a favor and SHHHH.

And frostings I respect you not caring about camping, but others do. Nobody likes whiners, but the camping in S3 is ridiculous.

Now please let's keep this thread on topic. Meaning if you're not going to talk about thoughts or possible ways to reduce camping and other problems don't post!

Now for some more thoughts..

1. Bright red suits, or two colors for each team. Yes it sounds corny but you can't sit in a bush if you're bright orange or something.

2. Vehicles may have made the maps bigger in S3 and were at points good and bad but I think vehicles should not be in Confrontation. Zipper should return them in Socom4 while they are now slightly experienced with using them, Zipper could make them better than what Slant6 could probably do.

3. Since the last patch in S3 nades are very weird. You could be 5 feet from a wall and not throw a nade, but then be able to drop one right at your feet. I think nades should be dropped anywhere.

A light tap shouldn't drop a nade though. I think there should be a bigger deadspot in the button (whether it's still R1 or not) so there's a chance to disarm the nade and have more control.

I'm hoping zipper keeps vehicles to only a FEW maps in socom 4. And then don't have the option to turn them off or make the maps smaller (for those maps only)- if the map is made for vehicles in the first place, why put either option in?

Vehicles would have been more fun if more people had actually used them, but there was usually only like two people in a vehicle who could ever do anything. The rest of the people in it would just wait around for the driver to randomly drive by where they wanted to go or get them all killed. Everyone I knew always had more fun in the bradley or that humvee with four turrets than any other automobile.

Now for the single player on the other hand, the large maps weren't nearly as much as a problem, as long as your weapon could take out the guys within range. If you didn't have a sniper on some missions, you were pretty much screwed. This could have been helped if the squad commands were better, but it's always a hassle to make bravo team take someone out, often they will just run up closer to the guy (even if they're on hold), miss their shots by hitting surrounding cover, or any of a bazillion random other ways to screw it up. Improved squad commands would really help out the single player of socom 4. As long as they have most of those large maps lead up to some CQB later on in the mission, or if there are missions with entirely CQB, the single player will be fine. Even socom 1 had a lot of long range, big maps in its' single player, although not as much compared to socom II, and barley any compared to 3.

What they need to do for the single player is go back to their original mission plan, and try to translate the most fun parts of being a SEAL into a video game.

I wish SOCOM would go back to how everything was in SOCOM II. Right down to the damn crosshairs.

No encumbrance. No attachments. No 32 players. No VEHICLES!

The only thing I would have liked to have seen in SOCOM II, was to be able to play Suppression on every map, and have a respawn on every map.

I also, really miss the situational maps. I wish the new SOCOM would go back to that.

You want everything like Socom 2? Even the terrible hit detection? Be my guest.

The hit detection wasn't bad at all if you had a decent host. The majority of the people that bitched about it sucked.

Even Sony and Zipper admitted it was broken...

No, I just want the gameplay. The smaller maps, and the object oriented maps. Fish Hook was extraction, and that's it. I don't need a Fish Hook that is able to be played on every other gametype.

**** that, just give me a map that is built for one gametype. That's what made the maps great. It had plenty of strategy.

Like I said before, maybe they could've added an option for custom games that allowed Suppression and a respawn mode on all the other maps, not just Suppression maps.

I guess, really, I'd just like an updated version of SOCOM II. Obviously, they did have hit detection problems, but that really didn't bother me as much as the glitching and rank-up queers.
