There is a beta currently but it's closed. I think it's developers (and the like) and maybe some arse kissing members of the public who can use it right now.

Actually quite a few people are in it. I think it was given out to a lot of Playstation Underground members. I can't remember, it was probably over a half a year ago, if not more.

I thought I saw that somewhere aswell but wasn't sure enough to stick it in my last post.

I'm glad I don't have the closed beta, it would make the final release a huge anti-climax. Months/Years of testing it and you see the final build and think, "cool, but it's old now". That's I wouldn't go into game development.

Now I almost wish that I had kept up my subscription in the PlayStation Underground... I'd love to be a beta tester for PSN's Home... just so I could brag about it to the rest of you.

I am in the playstation underground, but I don't really ever do anything. The GAP members are the ones that get most of the stuff.

I just occasionally get stuff in the mail.

I used to be in this group... but after "falling out of love" with Sony back in the late days of the PS2, I let everything fall by the wayside.

Geeze, we might be expecting Home a lot sooner than we though. That news said it will be out soon, but apparently a lot of current beta testers said that the public version will be out in April! Also, in an interview with Scott something from Sony said we should keep our eyes open in spring, and the public beta is supposed to run from April to some time in May with the full release in June, and some believe it will come out the same time as some special game...*cough* MGS4 *cough*.

All speculation, but at least we are hearing something. Also, some more speculation that it should NOT take 2 weeks to simply redesign the store. People think something big is coming, and they are preparing for Home and some other things.

I just hope we won't end up being disappointed again.

No, this just can't happen.

We can't have GTAIV and Home in the same month. As much as I want both, having them at the same time is just too much.

It's like waiting for a bus. You wait all that time, then 2 come along at the same time.

In all seriousness, I can't wait to see Home. The sooner we see it the better.

I was talking with someone who is beta testing Home at a party over the weekend, and they told me that at this time, it seems pretty average.

Of course, I am betting that this will undoubtedly change once it goes live to the masses, so I'm not overly worried. :shrug:

A lot of people are expecting to see the open beta sometime this month because Sony said that they are giving us everything they have starting after the roll out of the redesigned PSN.

Personally I highly doubt it will be this month but I'm not worried.
