What's your opinion on quick scoping?

I know practically everyone will say it's garbage, BUT, to make a few arguments for it:

It's a skill that takes a lot of practice to get good at.

It may be unrealistic, but it's certainly not more unrealistic than spam grenades.

You may say it's cheap, but it's definitely not as cheap as an F90 on Antenora, or something similar. And all it is is using a gun to the best of its ability.

But anyway, I was just making those points for the sake of argument, so please don't bash me for that.

Any opinions?

I loved it because I was good at it. However the removed it from socom so this doesn't really matter.

"quick sniping" was Removed../ the dif. Is that it used quick scoping along with jumping and shooting in the Air. It caused the person to lagg often:

Simply put. Quick scoping is
just scoping in quickly and shooting that takes skill. Same as shotgunning with the sniper. Ur using it outside of its intended use but still works

By quick scoping, I meant putting a high on a m87 or m82 and zooming in really quickly, shooting someone, and zooming out really quickly. I've heard a lot of people say it's cheap, but I don't think there is anything cheap about it so I wanted to you what you guys thought.

Watch my last two videos all I do is "quick scope" isn't that what sniping is all about?

I was wondering if there were more people playing now because of the free maps. Before it used to be like 10,000 at its highest about each night.

Well yeah, but you said they got rid of that, and you can still scope in and out really quickly.

And a lot of people actually still play. It's around 10,000 a night and growing. A ton of Socom 2 players are bouncing over because of the map situation. So I bet it gets to around 9,000 weeknights and 11,000-13,000 weekends here pretty soon.

There are different types of QSin, jump sniping (which is what they removed from the game), and indexing which is what you're talking about.
