the balls explode.. damage my immortals, do nothing to sed, and heal jansen. my immortals die in a few turns, but jansen and sed suffer no real damage... the balls resurrect each other, and after a few turns, my immortals come back, and the process repeats itself :P

That just means you are not physically or magically strong enough to fight that battle yet. It is a real pain in the *** but a good payoff when you beat them as far as XP goes. You're pretty much guaranteed a level each fight.

im actually looking for some good places to do some level grinding.. im at lvl 42- abouts and i need something better to beat the final bosses with

from 40 to about 48, go in the secret area under Gongoras' mansion. It's a level per fight up to about 47 or 48 then it takes two to three and increases with each level.

I got in the 80s with all my characters. A lot of my characters had 9999hp and were loaded with items and equipment...




But I never finished the game. I just......stopped playing it. >_>

I finished up at around Lv52, after spending about 45 hours in the game. I got absolutely tooled by the next-to-final boss when I first showed up at Lv45, so went and did some grinding and exploring. Came back armed with new spells and equipment and I was golden. I did die and have to reload and equip everyone with *check the bottom if you want to know* though, because that spell gets cast a lot in the final battle. After I did that though, it was kind of easy.

It was a great experience that I'd certainly recommend. It's very, very similar to Blue Dragon though, in all but story and graphical style. So those who liked Lost Odyssey should really think about giving it a spin.

How can you just stop after all of that?

That frustrated the HELL out of me. I only had Ming equipped with the proper "anti" so I had to "anti" everyone and the turn I got everyone ready again, that damn spell was cast AGAIN. I probably spent about 30 minutes of the whole time I fought him fixing my party from this particular spell.

as much as im liking the idea of playing the game with kaim at level 52, :P
(i beat the game using seth alone last night.. took forever...

im into newgame plus.. is there any particular point to it?

What do you mean? Is there a point to play the game after beating it?

If so, then I say it depends on how you do your first time around. There's many secret bosses to fight and get cool items and weapons from and side quest/battles such as the Backyard area.

If you ever get bored and haven't played Lost Odyssey in a while then you can always go back to it months from now.

well, i can always see doing thata, cause lookin through the walkthrough there is a few things i havent done cause i wasnt high enough level... i was just curiuous if there was anything extra, like new stuff

I think I just did too many side quests, lol. I got everyones ultimate weapon too.


I will eventually go back and finish it.
