I have both. I prefer the 360 to the PS3, but I use my PS3 for online stuff, because I just don't want to pay for something I don't believe I should have to pay for. I can play online games on my PC all day long for nothing, but if I want to play the same game on a different format I have to pay? No thanks. For this reason, I'm using my PS3 for online stuff, like Tekken and UT3. Although I must say, it's pretty poor - constant disconnections and a fair amount of lag make me wonder what it's like on 360. But still, it's free so you can't complain too much.

I love both systems, but for me the 360 is where it's at for the most part. It has better exclusives, IMO (FF and MGS don't do it for me), a better pad (again, IMO), and quite often, the same games cost less. But I'll still never pay to play online. For online stuff, I'll use the PS3. It may not be the best, but hey, it doesn't cost a thing.

As for it having more power... please. Yes, it almost certainly does have more power than 360. But have you ever actually seen a real difference when compared to the 360? No, me neither. It's like gloating that your Ferrari is better than my Ford even though your car has a speed limiter on it. It is more powerful, sure, but if nobody can see the difference in games, then it's a complete waste of time to even use it as an argument. The potential is there, sure, but it's not being used.

Oh, the PS3 has the right idea of a store, too. Charge in real money, not damn points. I hate those things.
