LMAO... this 360 version is SO much better than the earlier (regular) Xbox version that I played. Now that you can hire fellow Corleone gangsters to join up with you, it makes for a much better game experience; in my opinion.

I really, really, really like this game much more now. The hand-to-hand fighting is kick azz, too!

Can't wait to get home from work later, and play it some more!

I saw some advertisements for the game on the boob tube a few nights ago. They look even better than the ones they had out earlier this year. I'll definitely try this game out when I get my XBOX 360 later this year. It'll be a great experience too, as I haven't played the original XBOX game, or the PS2 game. Negative, how close does the story follow the movie(s). Does it actually follow the first two movies, or just the first one?

From what I can remember playing the (original) Xbox version and from playing the 360 version so far, most of the game followed the first movie's storyline. There's a lot of "filler" in there as well... kinda like the game developers making you the person that stashed the revolver in the italian restaurant's restroom for Michael Corleone to use in the assassination of rival family boss Solozzo.

Then there is the part that "explains" how the decapitated horse's head wound up in that (anti-Corleone) movie producer's bed... good times.

I really can't say enough good things about this "upgrade" version of the game... I must have played it for 5 hours straight last night!

EDIT: Oh, did I forget to mention that the AI in the 360 version is much, much better? And the explosions & fires look 100 times better? Sorry for not mentioning this earlier. hehe

I love that scene from the first Godfather. I think it's probably one of the coolest scenes from a mafia movie.

Good question... I'll have to fire up my game, and see how many hours I have logged on it. I still want to go out and try the Corleone Challenges that I downloaded several months ago... still have yet to even try them for the first time.
