I find the iron sights on all of the american guns terrible. They frame the target and simply obstruct view. The M14 has WW2 vintage sights on it, and the M249's handle covers far too much of the screen. The RPD and AK have much less imposing sights and I find them really easy to use.

I actually find the iron sights on the M16 and M4 easy to use as well. Those sights also make for great and easy headshots so you can stay silenced.

I think the iron sights on the M16 are one of the best in the game.

Most of them I have to keep going in and out of the iron sights because they take up half the screen and you can miss enemy movement because of them. I also like the shotgun ones if it came to a push.

Don't get me wrong, sometimes the iron sights on the M16 and M4 block my vision of my target from time to time (especially when I'm shooting through things like a cage fence or bushes but staying hidden and making your target try to find YOU is more important in my books.

M4, M16, M40 Sniper... those are probably the most commonly used guns... the m14 is also coming up.

I personally believe the best gun in the game depends on what you're playing.

If it's GB (judging by the vids I've seen) M16 red dot with stopping power since that's all anyone uses.

I've got my custom slots for each weapon class, minus light machine gun. I go by whatever the map and game type are.

RPD, grip, stoppping power, steady aim.
One of the g4y3st guns in the game. Accuracy and the range is great, even out of iron sights you can spray and you'll kill someone. And you dont have to reload that often. =D

I started using the AK74u with Red Dot and it's one of the noobiest guns on the game, you are almost guaranteed to get kills.

In saying that, I use it for close quarters maps like Vacant where someone can pop round a corner at any time. Other than that, I refuse to use it.

AK74U Silencer+UAV jammer+Bandolier. Its the most powerful submachine gun so it doesn't need da stopping power perk. Aim for torso and head and drop foes quick. While his teammates look for you with confusion. I die way too much bcuz enemy radar. So I stick to the UAV JAMMER perk.

For me its the Barrett .50 and the good ol M16
