Who hates the Wii???

I don't hate it, but I'm not in love with it either. The motion-censor controller can be fun as long as you don't play with it for too long, but I'd never buy a game that only gives you the option of using the Wii-mote. I bought it for games that let you use the GameCube controller, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. As long as Nintendo keeps releasing games that use the GameCube controller, I don't have a problem with it.

hahaha i totally forgot about sega and dreamcast. too bad they plummeted. i don't see the problem with wii. wii is one of those consoles that if you wanna have a good time with your friends you'd play. i'm more of a geeky loner so i'd stick wtih a console like xbox or ps3. this is the life of a gamer when you don't have friends.

I don't consider the Wii to be in the current console war. Nintendo is targetting a totally different group of consumers than Sony and Microsoft, they even said so themselves. I have a PS3, and I consider the Xbox360 as the PS3's competition. The Wii is great for what it's meant to be. For the most part, it's not for the "hardcore gamers." That's the PS3 and 360's territory. The Wii is for more casual gamers, whose biggest concern isn't graphics. It's for people who prefer fun adventure and party games, and for people who want something that would be fun for more than one person at a time. I think that's great. But I consider myself a hardcore gamer, who is big on graphics, and who loves the more mature games. So the PS3 is perfect for me. But I can't knock anyone who would rather have a Wii.

The Wii IS for "hardcore gamers" because REAL "hardcore gamers" own all 3 systems.

Well maybe you have the money to buy all three systems, but most of us don't. And even if I were filthy rich, I wouldn't own a 360. I would buy a Wii, to go along with my PS3, but I wouldn't buy a 360. But the fact that I don't have the money to buy all three systems doesn't make me any less of a hardcore gamer than you or anyone else. I can promise you that most college students, such as myself, are lucky to afford one system, much less all three.

I never said I have all 3. Id butt**** Oprah before I bought another PS3, and I wouldn't accept a Wii if it was given to me.

thats ********, if u were filthy rich ud have every system....twice. Just the fact that you said that makes u less of a hardcore gamer.If you were that hardcore youw ould want all the systems reguardless of what you thought of them, becuse its all about the games. You should have the mindset that you want to play every hot game possible even if its on a system u dont think is the best.

I dont like the ps3 as i like my 360 but id die if i couldnt play mgs or hots shots golf, etc. the wii has its fair share of must play games, along with its virtual console and casual programs like weather,check mii out, and internet(way better than ps3s internet function) and its only getting better. I dont see any reason to hate the system.

Same here, what makes me mad is the wiimote it self/sensor...

Sometimes i get good connection soemtime si dont.. . So im in a middle of a game and the wiimote just acts up and like its jumpy/
