Predator drones.. like the UAV's that you can get in the game?

Try playing halo... no one camps unless its objective, and then they have a reason, there are no claymore and the trip mines in the game are more than useless, you cant get ghilled up, and no one uses a scope unless its a sniper rifle.. which you rarely have enough bullets with to kill more than 4 people with.

I got an idea: Go play SOCOM II with me! This game is still da bomb even though I've bumped into 3/5 cheaters. Maybe get Resistance or Warhawk perhaps? It will change your mind.

Yeah, it seems in every game, we always play with dirty players who always want to win instead of having fun. I think every single game will always have some kids who mess around. There will be no perfect game unless they keep patching it. We can't stop them. I still enjoy playing SOCOM II. Even now I'm playing it religiously (stole from oxford's sexy english word, you're so COOL OXY), people don't camp but at least it's still fun. It's sad that people moved on. Otherwise, it would be so great to play S2 with y'all.

Socom 2 really is where it's at. It always will be the single greatest online game to grace this Earth.

It doesn't matter that nobody camps, that game is terrible in every aspect.

Yet after all that it is a POS abomination of a videogame. 2 Melees to kill someone? Lame.

There was never a VGF clan. We just had it for Cod4 so we knew who was in our party. We never even did any wars.

lol mate, I wish it was that easy. In reality my only bloody experiences with UAVs have all involved picking up little broken bits in the middle of the desert, generally being shot at and using around fifty thousand dollar's worth of ammunition and fuel while we're at it. The British ones in particular are terribly built, they are more likely to crash land on a three legged goat than help us win the intelligence war.

I can see where you are coming from with the no scopes thing, as S2 had abysmal scopes if it had them at all on assault rifles, and there were none for MG/SMG's. And that game was pretty damned good. But I believe that the solution to camping, at least on the respawn modes, is to make the ranking system dependant on an average points per hour score. BFMC demanded pretty aggressive gaming to get a decent PPH, and apart from C4 campers of Backstab I can't remember any real nasty camping going on. When rank is involved people start caring.

Wow, I never paid attention to how many people camped out until I read this and then played the game.

People love to camp on the 'bloc' level and I think about only four out of twelve were actually carrying something other than a sniper rifle.

But I love sneaking up on the snipers and stabbing them. Releases a lot of anger especially when it was the one guy that kept catching you.

I realize that there are campers in this game, however I don't seem to notice the number of campers a lot of you were talking about. I do notice the campers when I come across them, but I'm not seeing "all these campers are ruining the game., blah blah blah".

I think some of you are blowing this way out of proportion. I do get annoyed sometime with campers, however not enough to totally stop playing and start whining about it.

Why does everyone complain about campers? They're free kills.
