Yeah thats right I guess I wasn't thinking about him not ever getting a MLB appearance. Yeah having Homer Baily is going to be sweet. Also I think Keppinger is going to be great as well, he's bascially another Freel, he's played IF and OF, he'll be a good utility player.
But yeah I guess I lied, i never really tried and trade for other IF or OF, I usually however always try and get pitching, considering thats been the reds achillies heel for years. Hoping the Closing will improve with the addition of Francisco Cordero.

This game is great. 7-0 win in my first game against the diamondbacks. I haven't made and trades, however I did call up juan castro for an experienced middle infielder, and also I called up the SP Volenquez and Coffey got moved down. He'll my in my Volenquez will be in my bull pen for now.
I might make a trade or two but I'm still not sure yet.
I'll be starting my franchise when Knight at Operation Sports releases his full minors set. That way I can have Jay Bruce
And so I don't have to deal with people like Millar and Donnelly that aren't in the game because they aren't in the MLBPA. The PS3 MLB 07 players really liked his rosters last year.

okay so after playing a few games online i officially hate this game. the no mics situation is killing it for me and they made the pitching extremely hard. any amount of lag or wrong movement of the pitch stick while your pitching will layup a nice meatball down the plate. before you know it the score is 15-17 in the 5th inning. a nine inning game takes close to if not over an hour at times so not being able to speak to your opponent just sucks. the graphics are cool and what not but i think i am gonna try MLB The Show. all i wanted was a decent baseball game to play with my friends but it looks like i am gonna have to wait till MVP baseball comes back in 09.
I'm thinking about renting this game, as I just can't wrap my arms around the MLB 2K8 copy that I got on PS3... last year's seemed like such a blast (once the sliders and stuff was set), but this year's version just seems... off.
I've been hearing that the framerate issues should be cleared up with a patch, but who knows how long it will take for that to be released?
I'd love to hear more about what's good/not so good about MLB 08: The Show, though...
