Is Turok worth it?

well i bought it and i have to admit it is kinda addicting, imagine trying to take someone out in multiplayer and all of a sudden a raptor comes out of no where and uses you as a toothpick. Story line isnt bad either, anyone else try it yet?

I thought the demo sucked stinky, sweaty arse... made me not want to even bother with playing the final version. Besides, I have never been much of a Turok fan... and I was spolied by better FPS games... like BioShock, Resistance: Fall of Man, R6V, etc etc.

Ive seen screen shots, videos and interviews on TV and they all look lame.

I will agree that the demo sucked but the game is actually really fun. By far i think the best weapon in the game is the knife. What's better than hopping on a raptor's back, riding him for a sec., then slicing his throat apart? The story is pretty good as well.

I actually had a swell time running around knifing everything in the demo just to see al the different ways to do it.

After reading a review on this game in the new EGM, I am definitely glad that I stayed away from it... they were saying that the screen shakes from just about going any action in the game.

Sounds like a simulated seizure, if you ask me.

Played the demo wasn't impressed. Also read the reviews and I'm glad I got DMC4 instead of this.

The hell with this game. I rented it to play it with a friend, and we were both pissed off by the end of our session.

The online play is boring, the co-op missions are WAY to hard, and the story line is just dumb as hell.

All the one liners are almost as bad as the DMC series. At least DMC has good gameplay.

Bioshock is better.

I can't even get online. I pick the type of match i want or w/e and it sits at the loading screen forever. I even tried to find a match while i walked down to the store, when i got back still nothing, it's lame.

The story isn't that bad, but could have definitely been better. The "bosses" in the game were WAY to hard imo. The T-Rex just wouldn't die, and when that thing that came out of the water started throwing **** it was far to accurate.

The only thing that i REALLY enjoyed about the game was the knife. 95% of the time i was running around knifing dinosaur's and the other guys (w/e the hell they were).
