COD6: Real Modern Warfare

okay heres my opinion if its okay to make a game about vietnam ww1 ww2 why isn't it okay to make a game about a real modern warfare. i only say this cause i know some people has said in the past "no why shouldn't make iraq into a game" why? cause it didn't happen over 30 years ago so what!

They'd just have to call it... COD6: Kinda Modern Warfare if it was going to be set in something like Vietnam... I like where you're going with the idea though... I thought Shellshock: Nam '67 could have been so much better.

I think someone should step up and actually do a WW3 game. I mean COD4 was about a small conflict and a nuke. If Infinity Ward did a game with a huge conflict, an epic feeling, and a good story about WW3 it would definately be a hit!

If they could capture you like COD4 did with like such drama and intensity, then it would be awesome. If it is just another FPS, then screw it. Game producers really need to realize that the gaming industries need some change. New things are needed, too many typical WW2 FPS's. I agree if a really good WW3 game was made, it would probably be awesome. I just hope that they'd focus more on the story, people are not aiming for good stories much anymore.

Yeah most games have stories that are from the bargain bin at Barnes and Noble. Developers seriously need to step up and make a good story that engages the player. Usually a good story brings in the player more than great gameplay.

my idea for the sweetest game ever would be a huge map, where there is just constant fighting one big server, and you have to take control of points and all that, that would be intense, and like the game goes on for like 2 months, then another 2 months :)

idub, a game like that could only be titled one thing: Total Chaos, because that's about how it'd go down.

Ditto. I have always thought about a game where there is no single player and there is just one huge multiplayer map where it's total war. Everyone plays on an enormous map. Like a continent and your objective is to fight your way to the capital.

You start the game off with a class selection screen. For instance you turn on the game and you are immediately asked what class do you want to be the entire game.

So if you want to be a pilot than you choose "Air Force" or if you want to fight on the high seas then you choose "Navy" and so on.

But after a while you start to become a niche in that class, so first you are an F16 pilot, but you soon develop a nack for bombing the **** out the enemy. So you become a B2 Bomber Pilot.

I dunno these ideas a pretty vague but if there was a game where it was total war with everyone else on that same game, I think it would be a pretty cool game.

I immediately ejaculate at the thought of a game THAT amazing. Where it is one giant MMOFPS with vehicles and bombs and all sorts of things. Realistic of course, with respawn timers for reinforcements every couple of minutes.
