Hideo wanted to make MGS4 for both systems. Sony didn't want that because we all know how Sony is struggling with income from the PS3 right now mainly because their lack of exclusive titles that hit big. They knew if anything, MGS4 was NOT the title to let go and they offered Hideo a TON of money to keep it PS3 exclusive (at least for the first year or so.) So that's why I'm jumping on the RUMOR bandwagon.
