The last time that I had to send in my 360, which was a few months ago, they had me send in my power supply with my console. When I got my 360 back, I had a new power supply, and they took apart my 360 and installed new parts in it, just like they offered.
I'm guessing that they went to all of the extra trouble because this is the third time that I've had to send it in, and the last time I had to speak with their customer support branch in India, things got a little heated on the phone when "Roger" couldn't give me any worthwhile information as to WTF was going on with my repairs at that time.
