Somebody tried to kill me today
So it's been about 10 hours since it happened, and I really cannot believe that I'm alive right now but I learned a lot today. I just finished my finals today, and my sister came and got me to go home. We're driving out of Minneapolis going through a tunnel and this guy who is the devil is weaving in and out of traffic and comes right up behind my sister and I. My sister flicked him off, and the bastard speeds up along side of us and full blown swerves into us trying to drive us into the median. My sister luckly narrowly dodged him by breaking and he probably almost hit the guy in front of us as well which made him cut back in. Then the guy cuts four lanes over to go up an exit ramp. We got back on the road, and took about 15 minutes to calm my sister down. The thought that someone actually tried to possibly kill my siter and I is just mind blowing especially over something as stupid as a hand gesture. We couldn't read his plates because they were covered with snow, and 911 didn't seem to give a **** even though we gave a description. Even though I doubt justice was served, today finally brought together something that I havn't appreciated enough which is much more important then getting back at someone.
My outlook on life changed instantly today, and I swear everything that has happened to me over the last four months since I left for college has changed me more significantly then my entire life so far. I've become so thankful everything, and now this fiasco from today just makes me feel someone is watching over me. Sometimes you don't realize how good things are until you almost lose them. I just want to say to everyone to make sure you appreciate life and tell the people who care about you that you love them. It's the holidays, and this is a damn good time to let people know this. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas, or whatever holiday it is you may be celebrating. Cheers

I doubt you would have been killed from sliding along the median.
And that's why you should drive a massive truck, like me. No one will mess with you. I've had people steer out of the way just to let me pass and I wasn't even doing anything to provoke them, lol.

Exactly , I don't feel safe in cars anymore. I like the safety of my big truck. I even have a large trailer hitch on the back that I affectionetly call " The Can Opener " in case I get rear-ended, as I have before, the cars that hit me gets all the damage. I laugh and drive away.
I get my new 2008 Toyota Tundra Crew Max on January 8th , can't effin wait.

My sister drives a saturn ion and the guy had like a 92 chevy silverado. The reason I probably woud've died though besides that, is the area where we were at is one of the worst places for traffic in Minnesota. There probably would've been a pile up if we did crash though. It's just scary **** period though. My sister gets pissed off really easy though when driving and does some stupid things when she does, and I knew never to **** with people for this reason and I told her this when she was doing it and sure enough she ****ed with the wrong dude.

Mr Brother is a complete Road-Raging-Tool for stupid reasons and has gotten into trouble with the law as couple of times for it and still doesn't learn his lesson. I hope someone seriously beats the snot out of him someday.

Well you sound like the classic kid with a small penis and a big truck. Just because you have a larger vehicle does not mean people respect you more. People pull over for my CAR all the time and let me pass. If a truck is riding my *** I hit the breaks, its fun to see them slide towards you. I could go for a new truck/bumper. Not to mention I drive dumptrucks all summer and I drive slow when I'm in a truck not only to save gas but because you need more time to stop. Don't think your god because you drive a truck.

Ok well the guy almost hit you, not almost killed you. I think I shall go into the steriotype area and say that your sister probably can't drive for ****, was holding people up because of "snow" on the road and then she had the nerve to flip him off. If you prevoke it you better be able to support it because if that guy jumped out of the truck I doubt your sister would beat the **** out of him.
Next time get the hell out of the guys way, is it worth being a tough guy and flipping him off?
I hate people on the road they can't drive and women suck at driving period.

Motto of the story is, don't drive with your sister.
Plus, it's much more macho if your driving then your sister is

Did I say I thought I was God because of my truck? No, I didn't. I don't appreciate you putting words in my mouth.
I don't have a big truck because I think it's cool to have one. My grandfather gave me the truck because he had no use for it anymore and I was about to get my license. Then I had Make-A-Wish Foundation fix it up for me when I was going through treatments.
I never said people respected me more because of my car. I was simply pointing out an instance that has happened and I make a connection to it with my truck (and I was joking around). I have never driven fast nor have I tailgated. I'm scared to death of my truck and I don't want it taken away if I get in trouble.
I feel safer in my truck. I take pride in having my truck. I enjoy working on it and taking care of it. Don't deprive me of that by saying I'm a "classic kid with a small penis and a big truck."
And if you honestly follow that silly little notion about compensation with big cars, then my opinion about your intelligence and maturity has just changed.
