Oh crap, I completely forgot about that one. That too is pretty fun, in fact I still play it from time to time to unlock more weapons and armor. There's also the port of Valkyrie profile which I would recommend playing if you missed out on the ps1 version. I also plan on getting Monster Hunter 2 and Valhala knights which I heard were both pretty good.
Oh you own it. Awesome.

Yeah the thing is I barely got it and wow the gameplay and graphics are awesome. And Yeah I definetly missed out one the PS1 version.

I haven't played Monster Hunter at all But I heard some really great things about it. Would you reccomend it??

BTW, have any of you guys heard of a program called Xlink kai? With it, you can play all your adhoc games online. Definitely worth using if you lack friends with psps.
Unfortunetly no. At least I haven't. So far I have only heard of Homebrew. LOL

What do you mean by Adhoc?? Is that abrieviated for some thing??

adhoc is local wifi, while infrastructure is nation or worldwide wifi. xlink kai can make an adhoc game infrastructure, I saw a couple trailers of monster hunter and it looked fun.

I have a DS and love it. I tried getting one last year, but every store I went to said they were discontinued (wtf?) so then, I thought about a PSP and did some research on it, PSP looks cool and fun but found that it has its flaws, but I'm sure every game system in the world has to have some kind of flaw. This Christmas, I finally got a DS and enjoy it very much but my mom plays it more than I do. I can't get her grubby hands off of it.

So, I say get one.... Still want a PSP though (kinda)

I haven't played a PSP yet, and I really have no desire to. The games for it don't tickle my fancy.
As for music, I have a mp3 player for that. (Oh lawdy, I'm so old-fashioned)

Everything you just said about the DS is possible on the PSP too. Not only that but you have "New Console Lust" I feel the same way whenever I pay something for the first time. The DS is a great console, don't get me wrong, I used to have it but I sold it to a desperate friend. I am just saying that you should play it more before you go off posting things like this and making yourself look like an idiot.

In the end, you mentioned downloading games onto it. The PSP Homebrew/emulation community is much more populated than the DS homebrew/emulation community. On top of that the PSP is easier to "set up" (I dont know if the H word is acceptable here). Just keep all of that in mind.

I could go on forever, but for the sake of anyone reading this, Ill stop.

Just give it more than one chance before you buy it. trust me, once you get ANY console, the novelty wears off, and you either like it or dont, regardless of how much you loved it the first time you had it in your hands.

Yeah I was the same way before I got my PSP. But once I started to play the PSP games, I found them much more fun than I did at first glance. As far as using it for music. I use my phone for the most part, but I keep a lot of music with me on my PSP just for the sake of having it. I used to feel the same way about the games though, until I started to play them more than fifteen minutes.

In my opinion, the PSP is a handheld CONSOLE, and the DS is more of a handheld game. I don't know id that makes much sense, but I think the PSP is more for people who want to sit down and play a game, and the DS is for the people who want to kill some spare time. I like to keep both handy.

In my opinion, Assassin's Creed on the DS is quite possibly better than the PS3 version.

Obviously the graphics are lacking because it's the DS and not a $500 machine, but the gameplay makes up for it.

You actually have to make an effort to pick pocket, you hit pressure points to interrogate, and I believe there is other stuff in there that is not on the DS.

I only played for about 15 minutes and it's already the best DS game I have played yet (Although I do like the Mario Party puzzle games).
