The .Hack Series

Well, it all started with Infection, then Mutation, then Outbreak, Quarantine, and the GU series...It almost seems like they should just make "The World", right?

That would be pretty awesome! You think they might be working on it?

But but...what if the same thing happens? :O

I dunno. If they did, it would be just like any other MMO, so they should hold off until we actually get one of those nifty goggles. And those things that translate speech into text.

You're right!

Definetely!
I would really hope that the same thing wouldn't happen, but I find the whole "losing conciousness in a game" thing to be slightly unrealistic.
However, I HOPE that wouldn't happen!
And I would love the goggles, I'd be the first person to buy a pair.

uhm...yeah! I guess that would be cool!
But do you think people acyuallt would fall into comas from something like that?
If something like that does happen, then it might make the company's reputation go down...a lot...

That'd be interesting, but I don't think it would hurt the company's reputation that much really. Just take the few instances of people dying from playing too much StarCraft. They'll just say it's the player's fault.

However, if it happens o a massive scale then maybe..

Indeed

yes, I agree with you...the saying goes: "the customer is always right", but in this case it would be "the customer is responsible for himself/herself"...
Excellent point...
