For all you computer users.
This has to be the most coolest router ever. It can do wireless G, N and B. It features a clock and tells you how much bandwitch other users are using. ( I can't spell).

Maybe you should seek help for the issue?

But on a non teasing note; GAY! If I want to know the time, I'll just look at my wrist, my alarm clock, my phone, and POSSIBLY even my computer screen.

I agree that the clock is pretty corny.

But the bandwidth usage features per users and main user is pretty neat. (upload and download speeds) For it to show on the display like that is pretty high tech.

I was going to get this since my MacBook Pro has wireless N capabilities and because my Linksys WRT54G sucks at life. Then I read a review that it doesn't work with XBOX 360. I don't have a 360 but I plan on getting one ... so I don't wanna take that chance. Just a caveat for all you Wireless 360 users. Maybe it will be fixed with an update...

I had that god-forsaken router... I eventually traded it for a netgear. So aggravating. And if you need help, you'll never understand the person helping you.

Personally haven't had all that much trouble with it. Just use ipconfig to find the ip address of it, and then paste it into your browser, and you can edit the settings from there.

Ditto Dboyz. And considering I got it form best buy, where it was 40 dollars, and came with a instant rebate of 20 (they gave me a $20 giftcard), so its the best wireless $20 router out there.

Glad to see someone else who understands my frustration. If you have this router and aren't frustrated with it, you certainly have not tried to download torrents of any kind! It will crash every time!

The default firmware for Linksys (and all replacement firmwares except for one) have a severe problem where they track old connections for FIVE days, which causes the router to hang when using P2P apps, or any software that generates a lot of connections. DHT only aggravates the situation because of the number of connections it generates.

There's a way to hack the firmware on it and replace it with a proper (non-Linksys) open source firmware, but that requires a PC and time and patience. Three things I'm running low on...

Linksys used to be a great company... now everyone seems to have jumped the boat to Netgear and never look back. Belkin I hear is a great brand too... but I will shop around a bit more. Until then I can only download torrents at night while I'm sleeping so my ineffective router wont bother me.
