Socom CA activity?!? OMG!
Apparently a *&%$ ton of people were kicked off today. Also suprising was "DevGru's post's on another forum. Included were the following.

1. new names will NOT need to be verified.
2. sopcom blog will be updated by tomorrow
3. patch for FTB2 (who cares?)

Noticeably absent was mention of a patch or MP2. What a shock. I'm curious to see what he has to say. Probably something vague and non-commital. The funniest thing about his posts' was that he said he wrote the blog entry but didn't post it. He was immediately flamed with a "I guess that tells us something about the way things are run at Zipper." Pretty good one. I guess he doesn't realize that if he were to just keep us updated, even with bad news, people wouldn't be so irritated. Now beginning right below this post you'll find a sluury of "doomsdayer's" that will endlessely discuss their negative viewpoints. Enjoy.

Because I guess verifying names was the reason for the decline in activity on S3 and CA....LOL!

I know, in a couple interviews for Confrontation the question of "Why do you think the Socom population has decreased since Socom 3 came out?" and Seth Luisi gave an answer of blaming it on the verification.

But I also agree that having any name you want now is cool..because sometimes after awhile you think to yourself, "man, wtf was I thinking when I came up with this name?"
