My thoughts:
1. Who the **** cares. Zipper is too worried about ranks ups on S3/CA than codes and glitching, and when you're worried about a little symbol next to someone's name than a gameplay flaw I'm sure Zipper isn't even working on a map pack. I don't know why but last night I joined a Convoy room. The map was Cricible and some ****ing terrorist had codes where he could drive 10 times faster and drive could drive through mountains. Of course he had the typical one hit kills and unlimited health. The funny thing though, is that the Seals still won. (M2 mines work wonders)
2. The game isn't worth it. The most I've seen online since CA came out was 15,000. Now only about 9,000 people play it regularly. I don't think that's enough to make an effort to put out a map pack. Heck, I remember when there was nearly 45,000 players on S2 and on S3 when it first came out.
3. The S2 maps are just going to get ruined by campers. In S2 players actually moved their joysticks, unlike in S3/CA where it's hide behind a corner and wait, and wait, and wait. All anyone uses in this game is Ghillie + silencer + Scope. The only people who can make this game fun is people in S3.com. They actually play the game like a game.
4. The game is too old and Zipper is crap. Too much time has been wasted between the last map pack. Zipper also hasn't informed players about anything since January.
If Zipper does release the map pack then it was a waste of their time and money. It just shows that even after so many people have stopped playing they're still going to release a map pack that was due in November.
