What keeps you playin Socom?

You know what keeps me playing this game? Because it's just plain fun. I don't worry about my rank or winning or losing. I'm just there to have fun. But sometimes it's hard to have fun when you got some stoner punk yelling at you for using a certain type of weapon or doing something they think is taboo which really sucks the fun out of the game. Well at least I have enough of a life to put the controller down and go outside. I only really spend an hour or 2 playing this game and thats not even everyday. That's good compared to the 6 or more hours some of you waste on this game. Really you could all do good with some time outside. And to those who yell at me for using an F90 or whatever. Well I'm going to continue using those weapons and I am going to continue to camp. And if you don't like it, thats too bad. You all may say I have no skill but I don't care because I don't need skill to have fun.

Everyone plays having fun, but some of those things take away from the fun of the game. And why do you always break off into a spiel about people complaining?

What keeps me playing Ca...well. my clan, cKs, one of two reasons that keeps me going. We are not one of those clans that have been thrown together with the top quality players around that has all skill and no strategy, that will probably break in in 2 months anyway. We have been together for 5 years, and I know this sounds corny but its like a family, you always have a good time when you go online. We may not be the best clan talent wise, but get us in a clan war and see some intense strategy go to work(and usually succeed).

I like how it's not crazy with explosions. If any of you know the PS3 game "Warhawks" and have played it online, you know
what I'm talking about. You can use tactics in Socom and actually have them work, as opposed to playing warhawks and
having explosions all around while there's a tank coming at you and a guy w/a flamethrower trying to get you from behind.
I don't even see why they bother putting a sniper rifle in the game. Warhawks is full of people with their brains set on 'Rambo'.

I've only been playing Socom since the beginning of January, and I love it (and still suck).

I used to be a NBA Live Addict. 03' 04' and Especially 06' was awesome. I was a beast. But 05' 07' 08' Bite the Big One. Horrible Games. So when Live 07' came out I started playing Socom and haven't looked back. It took about 2 years, but I became a real beast, I play a ton!

And you know what, It's more fun than I ever had with NBA Live. Although Live 06' was a really fun year! Still Socom Wins, hand down.

one is because ims addicted like CRACK!! 5 years running and I cant get enuff.! 4 years have been spent in the same clan N^P.. We are really close friends i guess now and that keeps me playing.
Also the competitv nTure of the game can really be intense at times.
