Scuba i agree with every word you said also even though i cant play online yet. On CA i went through single player using nothing but the good ol ak with 4x Scope and GL-36 and beat it. I only hope i get a network adaptor and high speed internet soon so i can go own people with this gun that most everyone would say , except for a select few, sucks.

The GL reduces the accuracy of the weapon greatly. I would not suggest using the AK when using a GL or 203. Instead, pick up an STG, RA, or an M16. For some reason, the AK performs very poorly when a GL is attached.

Not much I can really say about the weapon. Very good, but I'm not a fan of slow fire rate, plus it doesn't come in bursts, which is my favorite style of gunning.
Nice gun, but I'll just stick with my trusty M-16.

The AK doesn't have a slow fire rate. It's not extremely slow, but it's about average. Many people complain of its slow rate of fire, but I don't think any of those people have actually used it.

IF the AK-47 is a slow fire rate then the only gun on this game with fast fire would be an F90/any other SMg.

Actually, I've used it on many occasions. And it definately fires slower than the M4. Which fires slower than the PN-90 (or whatever the game calls it).
I'm not basing this on "reality", I'm basing it on how the weapons fire, and the way I hear them in the game.

Sure, the M4 fires faster, but that doesn't make the AK have a slow rate of fire. Slower than the M4? Yes. Slower than all rifles? No.
I'm not talking about any real firearms, either. We're in the tips section, I'm only commenting on gameplay features.

Ummm....
I'm not trying to be a ****. But I'm trying to agree w/ what you're saying, and I can't. I honestly haven't found a rifle that fires slower than the AK..
Or should I say SOUNDS like it fires slower than the AK. Unless you count the M-60, but even then, it sounds a little faster....
Could you list a couple?

-AG-94 I think has the same fire rate.
-I'm nearly positive the M60 is a tad slower.
-The RTK? I think it's the same again but I'm not sure.
-The IW might have a slower fire rate. I know it's not that fast.
