StarCraft 2
GameTrailers.com - Starcraft 2 (PC) - Media, News, Reviews, Previews

A cinematic trailer, and some demonstrations. Cant wait!

( All the gameplay movies are just poor quality user movies, so hopefully gametrailers themselves would put up some better quality ones, mabie HD.)

visit StarCraft II probably for better quality movies and more info!

I hope this games doesn't need a super computer to run it. I'll no doubt have to upgrade my graphics card, but I hope that's all I have to do.

From the gameplay videos, it has very improved graphics compared to Starcraft one obviously, but it really doesnt look like you need a very good computer. A decent one would suffice.

"The game will be compatible with DirectX 10, and we're still considering whether there will be exclusive DirectX 10 graphic effects, but the graphics engine will also be very scalable to ensure that a wide range of different systems will be capable of running StarCraft II. The new engine is also capable of rendering very large units, as well as large numbers of units on screen together. Havok physics have been integrated into the engine for added realism as well."

So, pretty much like I said before, a decent computer should be fine.

When I read this last night on IGN this to me is personally the biggest game to me coming out ever. I played the first one like no other until the point where it seemed like I never lost and became disinterested with it all together. Looks like my reign of terror will be coming back to the starcraft universe.

Hopefully this one will be just as good (if not better) than the original. I can't wait for it!

Oh man, I can't wait. It is about time though, I thought they would never make a second one.

To me, the gameplay and the units look a lot (and I mean a lot) like C&C3. Especially the fact that the Protoss now have a Mothership and a tripod (both of which the Scrin have). But I'm not saying this is a bad thing, I think that the game looks pretty good. I am definately looking forward to some more information on it. I remember back when Red Alert 2 came out, there was a lot of rumors of naval units on the then rumored Starcraft 2. Now that would be a funny (but sort of cool) thing to see. Zerg Kraken and Kthulu go.

Well Starcraft 2 can have anything they want, and has probably been in development for awhile. I mean, Starcraft 1 came out what 10 years before C&C3?, therefore starcraft has the right to EVERYTHING. lol :p
