BioShock
I think this one came out pretty well. There may be a little to much going on twoards the bottom of the sig but I still think it looks alright

Comments?

Not bad, but the colors are extremely drained out. It's too bright and has barely any solid contrast. It looks like a piece of clear, but dusty film is covering the sig.

Heh, now that I do look at it, it looks like someone sucked the life out of it. I think the grainy look you are talking about was the layer I did with mezzpoint fine dots. I kind of liked the look of it (I had just found it) so I left it in.

Heres a new one, alot more colorful and not nearly as bright.

Any Comments?

The light source on the background and the lighting on the render contradict each other. You need to place the light source on the other side.

I was having trouble erasing the old lightsource in the bg so I just decided to make it be all right behind his head (a big light source). I actually think it looks a little cooler now, just like the sun is behind his head.

Any Better?

Lightingwise, yes. But it lessens the colors of the rest of the sig.

Can you recommend a good way to do that? I tried to do that with the BioShock sig but it ended up just really draining the colors.

I meant about toning the colors down, not the lighting.

The colors are toned down because of the lighting -wabba
