Warhawk (PS3)
This game just looks amazing. It is a must for me when I get my hands on a PS3.

Isn't this game going to ship with multi-player only. This would be one of the first games I have heard of and probably the first ever third/first person shooter without single player.

Yes, it's multiplayer only, but it isn't the only game to do this (besides MMORPG's). The Battlefield series does it to (or at least 2142 did) and more than likely a few others.

Anyway, I'll be waiting for this game. It looks pretty fun and I don't mind that there's no single player (I spend 90% of my time online on games), because that should mean that the multiplayer should turn out really good, and not just average.

I think F.E.A.R. for the PS3 is going to be multiplayer only.

F.E.A.R. will be a normal game (SP and MP). As for Warhawk, they were going to make it a normal game, but after people tested it, they said it wasn't very fun, so the people decided to scrap SP and focus everything on MP.

That's what a little Birdy told me. I downloaded the Trailer on the PSS and it looked Killer. I don't mind if a Good MP that doesn't have SP. But they should gauge the price of the game accordingly if it is only MP it should be in the 40 - 50 $$$ range.

i thought this was only a flight game. Its sort of like battlefield?! I only saw 2 different types of planes. Are there more. The flight physics don't look good but i guess its going for the arcade feel

I also read (at IGN.com i think) that Warhawk wasn't going to be released in stores, instead it iwll be available through the PSS.

No, Warhawk will be sold on a disc. IGN: WarHawk Confirmed for Blu-ray

And yes, it includes both ground and air combat. As far as the different airplanes, that I'm not sure about. I do know you can customize your plane (color, emblems, maybe even attachments [don't know]), but I don't know if there's more than two types.

It would make sense either way. On one side, it's two armies fighting, so they only use one specific plane. On the other side, why would they only use one type of airplane? That seems odd to only have one type of aircraft in your airforce.

But whatever happens (two airplanes or ten), I won't mind as long as it's lag free and has kicka$$ gameplay.
