I just set this straight, they are in the GRAW line of Ghost Recon(Mexico), but they were not in the original line of Ghost Recon series(Russia, Cuba, and North Korea). This is because that the Warfighter system was not put in until the Xbox 360 version.

Yes, but seeing as this is a sequal to the GRAW series, and based in the near future, there is a slim, slim, slim chance it would be removed.

I guess I was a little harsh, but wasn't trying to be..

Anywho, does anyone know the official release date of this game is?

On gamestop's and ebgame's websites it says

"Pre release- 3/6/07" and on ubi is says the 8th, and some people say 7th.

I preordered mine, and EBgames said I would get the copy probably the day before the release, but I'm just wondering..what's the PRECISE global date? Its different everywhere, lol..

Is there a difference between release date and pre-release date?

I will basically summarize what GRAW is for anyone in question.

You must be cautious and use cover, your health does NOT regenerate and you can only take 2-3 shots before going down.

You must be familiar with your weapon and know what to chose, so I recommend getting familiar with at least on weapon in each class(R, G, M, or A).

Rifles I Recommend-
M468 with silencer and grenade launcher, accurate, silent, explosive..he he
SA80 w/ or without grenade launcher- Double zoom scope, accurate, powerful.
A4-Extremely accurate and powerful

Snipers-
VSK sniper rifle, silenced 50. cal..need I say more? Also semi auto
M107 sniper rifle, semi auto ten round 50cal sniper rifle.
AS50 sniper rifle, accurate semi auto sniper rifle(Most accurate..)

Automatic Rifleman- The MG36 looking rifle, other rifles..well..I forgot the names..but all the Automatic Rifle/machine guns are pretty awesome.

In GRAW 2, from what I have seen in videos and the demo, the maps range from very urban and CQC to open and large horizons.

Map examples-

Outpost- Demo map, basically a warehouse/outpost in the middle of the forest, inside the outpost, mostly crates and buildings..outside, loads of foliage. Mostly CQC, the outside area of the outpost is so small it's not even worth staying out there, most fights take place in the outpost.

Back alleys- Reminds me of afterhours in socom 2, a few good elevated positions.

Aftermath- A town recently hit by a tsunami, like Waterworks in S3. Many cars, buildings, and accessible rooftops.

Crashite- A wide open grassland/field like type area with a crashed plane in the middle.

Lagoon- Like rocky cove from graw, just bigger from what I've seen

Locks-Urban medium sized map, the co-op version map is pretty large and offers loads of tactical and long-mid range approaches, not sure about the adversarial MP map is like though, seeing as the co-op and main MP version of the same map vary in size.

GRAW 2 will also have LOADS of weapon variety, total count is around 65 weapons.

Each MP map will also have a "Night-evening-Day-etc." lighting option, and anyone who has played a military game knows that if a map is switched to night, gameplay in that map can greatly be changed/feel very different from what the map is like in the day-dusk time. (I got all the map info from videos and other forums, so I just put those into summaries from what I have seen, everything else I just knew from researching Graw 2, lol.)

Still not sure, I mean I wasn't amused with GRAW, if GRAW 2 is something different and better, I might get it. I probobly will get Crackdown instead.

I played the GRAW MP demo and couldn't stand it.

I played the GRAW 2 MP demo, and its all I've been playing ever since I DLd it.

Many people say ts GRAW 1.5, but I saw its a full fledged 2.

All new maps, new features, new guns, EVERY SINGLE GAMEMODE THAT HAS BEEN IN THE GHOST RECON SERIES WILL BE IN GRAW 2, Daytime settings for maps, CLAN SUPPORT, each clan can hold up to 100 people! You can heal teamates if they go down but don't die, a system that reducess spawn camping by a huge amount(If you don't know the system, I'd be glad to explain.), And hugely improved graphics, even MP looks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
