Should I get Socom CA? Simple & honest thoughts PLEASE

I have been part of the Socom family for years and have not yet purchased the latest installment of Socom (CA). I was wondering if it is worth purchasing CA for the new maps and weapons...? here are my credentials:

1. own and play on ps3 but still got my ps2 somewhere
2. currently have been plaing Socom 3 regular on my ps3
3. have not converted my ps2 memory card of socom to my ps3 because i cant, and that memory card has all the unlockables

so is it worth playing on the new maps and being able to play with some of my friends, or am i better off just sticking to regular socom 3 without any of the unlockable because i do not feel like completing the game 3 times again...?

Yep. CA is by far the best socom to date.

Everything is unlocked once you buy it. So, no need for beating three times again.

Its much better than Socom 3. You get all those maps plus some new ones including snow maps, my favs. The downside if you downloaded the map pack, you can't use it on CA.

Yeah, buy it. It's pretty fun, as long as you don't run into cheaters.

Yes you can you just have to re download it. You don't have to pay for it again. Back on topic yes buy it the maps are much better than those on S3. It's definitley worth the $40.

No CA has many...many flaws. IMO socom 1 was the best.

Do not get SOCOM CA its online is full of cheaters and lag. Stick to SOCOM 2. Wait until SOCOM 4 comes out before upgrading.

A lot of people seem to like SOCOM still. I read your topic about how you say damn SOCOM, and I must say I disagree. I don;t like the way this game is played, but I have no ran into cheaters and people who use lag switches but maybe three times? And that has been since the release of SOCOM 3.
