Simply put, we need plenty of these in the next iteration:

It would be pretty funny if during a pimping mission or something if you could take one of your girls to a plastic surgeon and have some augmentations done. I wonder how much controversy that would stir up.

Try tons of controversy... once Momma Jones notices little 14 year old Johnny taking his hoe to the plastic surgeon to get work done on her rack, it's all over then for the rest of us.

I don't doubt it but honestly though, compared to everything else in the game it doesn't seem like that a big deal. In GTA3, VC, and SA after I got my "health" up from some pro I got out of the car and took my money back. By force. Lmao. What can I say I was a very bad man and unsatisfied with her service.

No matter what, this game will definately stir up some major contreversy (sp?) because Rockstar always likes to make things fun, exciting, and hillarious so if they added something like plastic surgery it would not suprise me to see this game be taken off shelves about 7 months into its release.
Although who will not buy this game? Seriously I think the sandbox genre fits to any person on the Earth.

I cant see the big deal over controversy in video games. GTA has always been the center of attention regarding controversy (maybe a few other games too) so whats new?
If the worst comes to the worst, they should release a regular GTA, and a "kid friendly" version, green blood like in the Jap GTA:III game.
Boob jobs are a daily event that happens in the world. Thousands of pigeon chested girls feel the need to have bigger ones, so why is that controversial. To give cause for concern in GTA for a bood job, they would have to make them illegal in real life. Not happening.
Video games cause problems if people let them. Saying someone went on a killing spree because of GTA is like saying someone tried to run around a maze eating tennis balls because of Pacman!
I am just glad I am now old enough to buy pretty much whatever games I want. By the time GTA:IV is out, I can buy every game I want. Kids shouldn't even let me in a store by themselves, never mind buy a game.
Its just bad parenting if you ask me. If you don't take the care in knowing if a game is "bad" or not, its their fault for buying it. They should make a dumb parent return policy in stores. If the kid goes on a killing spree within 10 days of purchase, the parent can go back for a full refund.

I swear that I invented this "move" when GTA3 was first released... then I told someone on the internet, and it all became public knowledge after that.

Just wondering, has anyone actually pre-ordered it yet?
Personally, I cant see the point in doing it now, but I was checking it out last night to just see how to do it.
If you pre-order through Rockstar, you pay $59.99 now, so you are paying for a game that isn't even in circulation.
I suppose it does confirm the price though, some sources said it was to be the most expensive game to date. Obviously not. (Or at least not right now)
If it gets to September and I am still here, I may do it then. I cant see it being too hard to get a hold of, but I could be speaking too soon.
PS: Anyone got any ideas (gathered from previous story lines) about what the storyline may be for the new GTA? I expect it being a "Worlds Collide" kinda thing where all the characters from the other GTA games come together as enemies/allies. I don't know why but I also get the feeling that "Claude" (GTA:III guy) will say a few words if he is in it. I am also hoping to not have to kill a Forelli family member. We have killed at least 1 in every 3D GTA game that has been out, its getting a little unbelievable.

nope, so far there hasn't been so much as a screenshot released or leaked. no screens, no vids, no rumors, hell the official rockstar site still has nothing but a splash page with text on it announcing the release date and system availability info.
i've changed my mind about preordering it until i get more info. i was thinking about it the other night and realized that after the "hot coffee" scandal rockstar may in fact tone the game down.

I wouldn't hold my breath on this if I were you... I'm pretty sure they won't tone their upcoming game down any.
Controversy = sales. Plain and simple.
Just count on there NOT being any kind of mod released (and/or hacked) that will allow you to do the things that the hot coffee mod allowed the player to do.

*Sigh* That's for quashing my hopes.
Honestly, I bet the whole hot coffee incident was orchestrated by Rockstar. How better test the waters for a future release? Not that there's anything wrong with that sort of gameplay in a game rate M for mature, and shouldn't be sold to minors.
