Oblivion Discussion (360)

Who here has played Oblivion? I think the game is amazing. The detail, all of the quests, all of the battles, and the huge seemingly never-ending map to explore.

I personally would have liked to have seen Oblivion be an MMORPG, but not everything is perfect. My love for MMORPGs started with FFXI and shifted to WoW. This game would have been 1000x better if it were an MMORPG or had the offline game AND the online MMORPG version. The game, although very fun, seems kind of boring at times due to the lack of additional players. What made FFXI and WoW fun in my mind were the mass amounts of real players to talk to and play with.

Anyway, the game is just a great one. Currently I am a level 12 (I prevent myself from leveling most of the time) on a custom character which is a mix. He is basicallty a thief who can wear heavy armor well, fight with blades AND bows well, and perform illusion and destruction magic well. I like him. He nearly done the thieves guild, dark brotherhood, and mages guild quests. He is done the arena and warrior's guild quests. I haven't done much of the main storyline, and I haven't played in a while.

I may get a 360 just for this game. This game is awesome and hours and hours of fun.

I have it for pc, but I have played it on xbox 360 also. But to be honest, I dont think it runs as smooth, there is more loading times. And some of the loading times are rediculous. Mabie they arnt that slow but I am just used to to the pc version.

But this game is cool, one of my all time favorite games. I have like 500 hours played on it. I have done all the side quests, and pretty much everything you can possible do. Now I am trying to kill everyone in the world since they dont respawn.

lol... i had it.. traded it in after i pretty much finished everything.. its really fun.. i suggest buying it itll last ya a while

Yeah I play, I'm lvl 2 I finally got in the theif guild. They always tell me get in teh warriro guild for extra money. Where is it in the arena?

warrirors guild is pointless till you finish the game imo.. just finish the main story then go back and do the sidestorys itll make the game seem longer..

Well my friends told me Wood elfs or what ever there called are good for sneaking I made one but I kinda regret it but I dont want to start over because I jsut became a Vampire they got ownage skills when you can detect life through walls.

Killer, being a vampire is not fun at all, because you can't sleep or wait because then you have to feed on someone, if not the sun kills you, and fire is your greatest weakness, especially in the Plains Of Oblivion, but luckly i found the cure and now i am normal after almost a month in real time as a vampire...

Did you download the Viles Lair, if you do you can get the cure from there and then become a vampire again, thats what i heard from my friend.

I hated being a vampire. Right when it happened I did the cure quest almost instantly.

I finally got full glass and ebony armor last night. Ebony armor is sick looking.

I finally got this game it is amazinng. I always had to play it at my friend's house lmao. I made a thief elf but didn't like it, not strong enough and not enough health so I made an imperial warrior. Heavy armor, blade and shield. I didn't do too much of the main quest yet basically just closed the Kvatch Oblivion gate and returned Martin. I beat he arena and am doing the Fighter's Guild now. I think I'm gonna wait until I'm done with the main quest before doing the Thieves guild or Dark Brotherhood. (I alrdy beat both at my friend's lol) But yeah I love this game I'm level 8 now about 16 hours played
