Family at holiday time

I know Christmas has already gone, so sorry its a little late.

I was just wondering:

Would you rather spend time with your Family (Not your household. I mean Grandparents, Uncles, etc) or would you rather just spend it with your immediate Family? (Household)

Personally, I would rather spend the time only with my household. Why? Because I hate it when other Family members come over because arguments arise and everyone is in a bad mood until New Years where everyone's minds are washed out by the alcohol.

I am my own best Friend, can you tell?

I spend it with my mom ,dad, sister, nephew and brother in law. We have get together's at my aunts house, but i could care less about goin.

As a kid, I loved seeing all the family. Both sides got along pretty good. But they all died off, so can't do that now. And now, all we have is just us four. All my Wife's family is not around anymore either. But if they were, I'd just want the four of us together. Now when we start getting Grand Kids, that will be different.LOL

I know I have talked crap about Family in the past, but I loved it when I used to spend time with my Grandparents, and basically my part of the family at Christmas.

Now I only see my Step-Dad's side of the Family (not a lot of it thank god) so I think my reasons for hating Family is because of them.

If I were with my Family this year, I wouldn't even be posting. (I wonder how many members here just thought of shipping my entire Family here just to get me off the forums for a few days? lol)

I spend it with my entire "family tree" how you put it. My mom, dad, brother, grandma, grandma, uncle, uncle, aunt, aunt, grandpa, grandpa, cousins, etc. Lot's of fun.

I always like seeing the rest of the family. My closest family is about 20-30 minutes away, but I only see them about once a month.

Anyway, to sum up everytime I see my family, refer to Otter's post.

Shiiiiit. I'd rather hang out with my family...my other cousins are.....are just weird, I dont like talking to them. It's like I have nothing in common with them. -.-' I have cousins coming to my place tomorrow. And these people are F|_|CKED Up!
I have a cousin who talks to himself and is 16ish I think? His sister is 17-18? And she still plays pokemon and other ****. ...Im gonna have fun tomorrow.....unfortunatly.
