I gotta agree, quicksniping is unfair. I can't believe that zipper allows skill in the game. That's why gb, quicksniping, and aiming should be banned by zipper employees. Next time i see a quicksniper i'll use my code 9 and tk him until he leaves. Thanks for the opinion, i'm sure everyone will agree

The word proxy means something that takes the place of something else that isn't there, but is needed.
I think the reason it started becoming such common a word for glitching in Socom is that in Socom there are many proxy boundaries (invisible walls meant to keep players from going further, but are invisible as to not interfere with the maps scenery) and players have found ways to get through small soft spots in these proxies (a good example was that glitch back on Socom 2 where you could escape the proxy between those two boats and run around out in the water)

People just caught onto the word and decided that to proxy break means to go through any solid object.

Kind of feel dumb for asking this, but I generally don't snipe that much unless I kind of have to. But when quicksniping, and index sniping are you holding the controller differently. When I attempted quiksniping I did a suck *** job cause I was to slow. If so, just give like a description of how your holding the controller. Much appreciated.
