Playing your 360 on your computer monitor.

I just read that you can hook your 360 up to your computer monitor, but it didn't give very many details. I found the cable, and ordered it

has anyone played it through their monitor, and is it any good?

Yea. Its the same as if it was hooked up with an HDMI cable. Picture quality all depends on your monitor. Any ultra sharp monitor would be the way to go. It looks awesome on my Dell Ultrasharp monitor, I'd say probably better than my 37" Olevia 537H tv, but not as good as my Sony Bravia 1080p set (obviously, $400 monitor vs. $4000 hdtv). In the end it all comes down to how good the monitor is. Anything, ultrasharp, at least an 800:1 contrast ratio, and at least 300cd/m2 is going to be superb. Most show text better than anything as well. What kind of monitor do you have? I've played 360 on alot of different ones.

I have a Dell e156fp lcd..may not look as good. The contrast ratio is almost half of the suggested ratio ><
