He listed the 32 badges above which help you unlock weapons in co-op, off-line, and online. You unlock the badges by accomplishing what it asks. For example, if you wanted the mercy badge you would have to complete an instant action mission(suggested) or a campaign mission without killing a single enemy. You then unlock things based on how many badges you get. If you get 21 badges then you can unlock the stg for co-op. If you get all 32 then the get the special mm-1 along with all the other weapons in co-op and online play.
