Advance Size File on Avatar

I'm not sure if this is such a big issue, but my avatars are over 9kb. The only way I could have my avatar up is if I have it hosted here, or ther size for avatars get larger. I know some of you could careless what my avatar looks like, but I'm not sure how I can make a simple avatar without exceeding 9kb. I did have an avatar with a plain background, and one or two words, and that still was at the max. I don't know why it is so low, but I am asking if it could at least go to 11kb. If there is some reason why it is so low, that I am not aware of, please tell me.

use the "link to off-site avatar" part of it. yu can use an avatar that is of any size through that. i would hope that your size would be reasonable but thats what i do with avatars over 9kb

Ugh, I'm disgusted...I must have spent a good amount of time trying to do everything possible to get my avatar dow to 9kb. Thank you so much, Mob, it now works.

If your avatar is too large, get it hosted, problem solved. :D
