Whenever I play online and I leave a room, my game freezes and I have to restart and log back on. This happens every time I leave a room regardless of the server or map. Has anyone else had this problem?
I also get server error 9 every time I log online and have to log in a second time for it to work. This isn't a sometimes occurrence. It happens every time.
The odd thing is, you would think if it were the server you would simply get kicked off and sent back to your start page offline. But this is actually a "freeze" where the music gets stuck and I can't do anything but restart my PS2.
I'm going to try to get EB Games to let me exchange my game for another one just to see if the disc is the problem. Problem is, I'm one day past the 7 day return policy :(
Do you have any other issues with other games? I too had the 1st generation of PS2. I went to buy a new one. Had no issues ever since then (Socom 3 and Socom Combined Assault). It's just a recommendation. It's probably having a hard time reading the disc. I would also check your ethernet cable just to make sure.
Nope, no problems with any other games whatsoever.
I've actually talked to a few guys in my clan who have had some recent problems. One guy actually has the same EXACT thing happen to him so it must somehow be server related. Hopefully Zipper will release a patch for it cause it's a pain in the *** having to restart all the time especially now that you can't press X through the introductions of the game.
