The Mr.Men is a clan that plays online games, but we mostly play in the Socom Franchise. The Clan has been around for approximatly four years, and has spanned nearly 60 members. The original creators of the Clan were Mr.Messy and Mr.Topsy-Turvy who unfortunatly are no longer active. I joined the Mr.'s about 3 years ago, and took over Leadership on the arrival of Socom 3.

The theme of this clan is the Mr.Men. For those who are unaware of the Mr.Men it is a series of Childrens books. You can see more at www.mrmen.com. We don't really have much of anything to do with the books, but the names of all members are selected from the Mr.Men. There is a name for everyone, and while most new members regret having to abandone their old name most have become very attatched to their Mr. names and carry them long after they leave the clan. However with the new credit card verfication system we have had to abandon requiring a Mr. name for membership in the clan.

Many have joined and left the Mr.'s, but the core (and most active) members of the years have been: Messy, Topsy-Turvy, Wrong, Chatterbox, Jelly, Perfect, Slow, and Impossible. There are many other notables who have not logged as many hours or have left the clan. There has been a long history with tons of good times and no shortage of controversy. We have branched into some other games such as FF XI and Battlefront, but for the most part Socom is the core game we play.

Why does playing in the Mr.Men rock?

1. We focus on having fun first.
2. We Play alot of wars, pretty much whenver there is 3 or more people on.
3. We don't camp. (except while losing wars... lol)
4. We boot people who are creating problems.
5. We have a long history and are not likely to disband.
6. No kids
7. No whiny or arrogant members
8. We often arrange playing times ahead to ensure the most members are on.
9. When buzz is high we have an active forum, and talk about lots of things in the world of gaming.
10. You get to look at statistical analyisis of your play versus the play of your clanmates at least once every 6 months.

If you want to join the Mr.'s we want you to be:

Polite,
Reliable,
Loyal,
Friendly,

We don't want:

Whiny players,
Campers,
Kids,
"waa waa your an IW *****" ect types,
Disrespectful and twofaced players,

and please, don't start talking back to core members, because you will get the boot, when a clan has been around as long as the Mr.Men we take it seroiusly when some punk starts talking back to a 2 year old member. There are only a few rules you have to follow.

When you are online play with the other Mr.'s.
Don't leave during a clan war.
Don't talk **** to other members, or disrespect core members.
Be on at least for a couple hours a week, (doesn't apply to core members)

So anyways after all this, if you want to join the clan, make a post in this forum with your username, and why you think you will be a good fit for this clan, then leave your Socom Username and I will send you an invite to the clan. Note: We will primarily be playing Socom: Combined Assualt, be we also play Socom 2. The times for each will be available over e-mail and the forum.
