If you loved Ico you definately need to play Shadow of The Colossus, one of the best games I've played. It has the same art style and complexity that Ico had and what's great about it is the gigantic foes you'll face. Never will you feel more like a true hero other than when you've taken down a hulking monster more then hundreds of times your very size. The ways you must defeat certain monsters is also intuitive. Some times just climbing on their back and attacking won't work. However the game can feel a bit...empty since the only foes you'll encounter are boss monsters. However the magnificent takedown cut scenes make up for them being your only enemies. Nothing is more satisfying that seeing a giant being brought down in slow motion by your hand. All in all I'd have to say that Shadow of The Colossus is a worthy successor to Ico and should be played by any Ico fan.
On the Ico game itself, I loved. However after freeing the princess in white and having to bring her with me whilst fighting off what I affectionately call "shadow monsters" it all seemed more like a very long escort mission which I doubt anyone likes... However I have to admit that the puzzles where indeed challenging and had me up many a night trying to firgure them out... But at the game's end I was relieved and treated to a scene of Ico and his fair princess eating some watermelon. Never had I felt such accomplishment since the night I beat Jak 2.
