Its easier, but if you watch any video's, or even see some of the games top QS'ers, they vastly prefer the high scope. Could you imagine a Red Dot on the M82...you'd be unstoppable

If anybody remembered the S3 demo, and beta, it was completely different than today's game. M16 would be considered complete noob gun, as it had a silencer option. Imagine that?

SOCOM: CA Demo Review... - SOCOM U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault - PlayStation.com Forums
If you read the first line in that link it says the weapons and attachments are what's in the demo, and there will more more weapons and attachments in the game itself. So more than likely the high and med. scope will be in the game.

Exactly what I was gunna write..Cant believe it took 14 posts to say that...I mean the M16 wasnt in the demo does this mean no M16 for the final game???No because there are a ton of ppl taht just use the M16 on seals or terr even though it is a SEAL weapon.. plus the front grip wasnt in the demo..

Socomcombinedassault.com is not an official SCEA/ZIPPER site. They're quoting those scopes because those are the only ones in the demo. Everyone relax, you'll have all your scopes in the new game.

scopes`
My take on the "scopes" issue is that the demo isd a stripped down version of the real game. That being said, maybe the medium and high scope are unlockables in 1 player game that you need to release before you can use them online. Sound familiar? Of course it does. That's how it was on S3. The demo gives a very "general" idea of how the real game will be. Think about it. No high and medium scopes? Why would you use the .50 caliber rifles when you can use a silenced SR instead? Everyone just stop it.

That's not because they vastly prefer it it's because people say it's harder to close rang qs with a high scope (Which it is) so they feel the need to impress the socom world with their mad 1337 pwnzor skills and only use a high scope in fault or some ****. Look at Adrenalines old vid he uses a medium scope when it's closer range because he didnt feel the need to show everyone that he could use a high scope and he just settled for killing people.

To not have those 2 scopes would be the worst mistake Zipper ever made.
Besides socom3....
