Ugh... the reviews that I have read for this game were no joke. It looks like this game should have been released before GTAIII, if you were to consider it "ground breaking". I received it in the mail yesterday, played it for a bit, and shut it off before my eyes & ears started to bleed.

The guy that does the voice for Scarface remotely sounds like Al Pacino... you can definitely tell that it's not Pacino doing the voice, that much I do know. For those that like to hear the "F" bomb being dropped every other word, this game would definitely be for you. But for those that have children running around their homes, I'd definitely suggest that you mute the T.V. until they go to sleep.

I agree with the reviews... I give it a 4 out of 10.

(And that's a lower score than I've seen it receive.)

Are you talking about for the Xbox or 360? I'm not sure about this game. It looks like it might be fun but it looks too much like Vice City (I realize Vice City got alot of its inspiration from the movie). What is the storyline anyhow? Does it start where the movie ended except it has you winning the gunfight or does it pretty much mimic the movie?

Xbox 1... that's why I titled the thread "Scarface (Xbox)".

The storyline takes place as a post-movie script. Like a "what if Tony Montana survived Sosa's attempted hit" kind of thing. Once you're done playing that part of the movie, it is a whole new storyline where you must regain all of your stuff, which was taken away after Sosa assumed Tony Montana was dead.

Just making sure because I thought you would've gotten the 360 version instead of the original. What's the matter with you?

I was hoping the storyline would be like that instead of just following the movie.

Well, they should consider it. Kinda like what they did for the "upgrade" of The Godfather moving over to the Xbox 360. I swear to you all, this game looks worse than GTAIII. And that game is how old now???

That story must suck. You can't have him surviving. The movie Scarface was all about the rise and fall of a gangster. Even if they would of had Pacino do the voice for Tony Montana, it wouldn't sound like it did when he made the movie back then. His voice is so different from then. It's all raspy, and just completely different.
