Star Fox 64 (N64)
Did anyone else love this game, or am I the only crazy one? Besides Golden Eye, I thought this was the second best game on the Nintendo 64.
I loved every aspect of this game, especially the multile paths that you were given in order to complete the game. Not to mention all the other tasks that you could acheive in game (Like flying through all thr rings led you to a different boss, which then opened up a different path). I remember beating the game through all the paths that were available. The game was actually pretty challenging as well. The last level was awesome, as was the final boss.
I really enjoyed playing this game, and actually wish I still had it (Maybe this calls for a trip to Gamestop?). So did anyone else really enjoy playing this, or do you think it was just another medicore N64 game?

I liked it as much if not more than how you said you did. My favorite all time level on that game though was the one where you were on that temple planet and there was a massive air battle going on and you had to destroy the spaceship. I remember going through that level and counting how many ships I had by my side when it was all over, and I think my highest was in the twenties (can't remember, but it was good). But overall, I thought this game was one of my favorites when I had my N64, and I would play it years after I had owned and it would still be fun.

Noob. Starfox for SNES was where it was at. Starfox 64 was fantastic, but how can you compete with the original horrible graphics of the SNES?

That I am, since I never played the original Starfox for SNES.
But that's probably due to the fact that I never owned the SNES. I only played it over a friends house, so I guess he is technically a noob!

My brother bought that for me for my birthday like 8 years ago or something. We could never beat the game, it always got too hard.

For the SNES I remember there were three "paths" you could go, left (easy, right?), middle (normal, right?), and right (hard, this is fact). I beat it on left and middle, but on the right side I couldn't get past the asteroid belt with all the angry faces on them. I think I made it through one time, but got wasted on the next level. After awhile I just gave up on beating it on the right side.
