hi guys can u help me out i am a new convert to socom on ps2 after playing splinter cell on the pc i have had a quick go tonite can somebody tell me how doi get the soldiers to switch there nite vision goggles on as i cant see what the hell i am doing half the time i can take the bridge of the boat kill all the baddies and what then it would help if i aould see where i was going.

The night vision comes only in certin maps... or mabye in Socom 1 never... I don't remember. If you can, all you have to do is tap up on the D-Pad once, then it will.

Socom > Splinter Cell

Yea, it's in S1. Just tap /\ on the d-pad pad once on a night map.

for online the only night map i remember is nightstalker, plus blizzard and frostfire, but they don't need nvg. I forget, do blizz and frost have NVG? I think frost might on s1..

He mentioned a boat, in that paragraph, so I'm pretty sure he was talking about SOCOM 3, which is likely since he's just starting with the series and SOCOM 1 is hard to find now. He just posted in the wrong section.

Nah, the very first mission in socom one was on a boat, and taking the bridge was the first primary objective.

Also since he asks how to make the soilders put their NVG on, I'm fairly certain that it was single player as well, since it is unlikley he would think you could force teammates to put their NVG on.

BTW only you can use NVG, your buddies don't

And socom 1 is the hardest single player. It's online wouldn't suit you unless your ok with few people and a few cheaters, like me (I'm ok with dealing with them. Don't think i'm saying i'm a cheater). You may want to upgrade to a newer one.

yeah s1 has the hardest sp hands down i havent even beaten the 3rd mission [dont laugh at me ]
