The game will apparently have no weather effects, no night racing, and no type of rally racing.
I don't want to sound fanboyish, but ever since Turn 10 showed off the game at E3, they have been downright belittling all other racing games, saying theirs is the best, and practically saying all other games suck in comparison. I don't like that kind of attitude....but........
GT5:
Over twice as many cars than Forza 3
Has weather, Forza 3 doesn't
Has Day/night racing, Forza 3 doesn't
Has WRC Rally Racing, Forza 3 doesn't
Has Nascar, Forza 3 doesn't
lol. I am sorry, but you don't say a game is the definitive racing game when the competition has these things, and you do not. lol. I am sure Forza 3 will be great though.
I don't care about the WRC Racing (don't know what it is either) or NASCAR. It does suck to hear that there won't be any Day/Night or weather in this game (though those weren't in the last one either), but I can understand why they didn't put those in. As for the cars, as long as I have my muscle cars, I'm happy.

I don't care about those features. All I want is Touge and I'm satisfied already. It would be much better if Microsoft supports the Logitech G25 but I doubt they'll do it.

1- It looks similar to the G25.
2- The pedals are still too close to each other.
3- There is still no seperate e-brake.
But the screenshots are still yet to be confirmed. I just hope the clutch would be more adapt to real because it's a big joke in GT5P. Nonetheless, it's a lot of fun playing my G25.
It's true indeed. GT5 has WAAAAY more than Forza, but the thing is...Forza doesnt have to change. Since its a 360 exclusive, and GT5 is PS3 exclusive, Forza has no need to expand itself as people wont go buy a PS3 just for a game. Most people wouldn't anyways, so it sucks. But we have to live with it.

Okay, so what does all of the above mean?

PI = performance index, just like Performance Points on Prologue. You get certain amount of performance points by buying parts (engine, suspension, weight reduction, tires, etc) and it automatically gives you a class (in Forza 2, Class D=400 PI, Class C = 550, Class B = 700, etc). About "more parts for smaller PI increments", there a parts that gives you a small amount of PI to max out your points. Like Class B, it stays between 550 and 700 points and you got 698 points and you want to max out to reach 700. This is what it means. In Forza 2, you can increase the rim's size (it's 1 point per inch) so you can get maximum points.
In Forza 3, Turn 10 announce the "rewind" feature, which gives you the ability to run back from time and re-do that part again. Per example, if you're doing 24H endurance of Nurburgring and suddenly you make a mistake and don't want to start over again, you can use this rewind feature. Personally, I think "Rewind will de-certify lap times, not available online" is a good idea. I don't really want to lose against new people who knows nothing about simulation racing.
