Umm, I like Mac more than any of the others. But for no reason really. Though, Kaim I think is most interesting (which is boring, because he's the main char)

I like Seth, she is my kind of woman!!! And I agree that Kaim is interesting. What is your favorite formation? Mine is Kaim and Seth in the front with Ming, Sarah, and Cooke.
I hate those two kids, they dont even mesh well with th story, kind of ruin it in my opinion. cook is also pretty useless to be honest. Best formation is kaim seth and mac in the front, with jensen and ming in the back, because ming can take more damage and has a better magic attributes(plus is a immortal so can learn all the spells) i put her there with jensen for magic attack and healing, and kaim seth and mac for heavy attacking. Mac has a strong attack and defense, and the double hit and you should equip seth and kaim with the strongest rings you can find for better attack.

It's been a while since I played, but as I recall I had Kaim and Seth in the front, with Jensen, Ming and Sarah in the back. Towards the end of the game it worked great as I had enough magic to heal and drop massive damage in the same turn. I had my magic users more or less focussed on doing one thing, but able to do something else if they needed to, ie being good at heavy damage, and OK at healing.
Didn't the adults have the ability for high level white magic? I'm sure at least one of my mages had resurrect and mega heal or whatever the spells were.

Jansen could learn some high white magic spells but not all of them.

I don't think Cooke is useless. I she has the best support skills out of all the characters. She can heal, revive, speed up magic time, and best of all, she can use Covera which protects party members from physical and magical attacks. If I cast Covera on Kaim, he will recieve zero damage all time. But the spell does have a limit, I think it's 4 or 5 turns.
not really, I found myself not really using alot of her higher level spells, and if there were any i did need, ij ust had ming or the rest of the party learn them. To me its no use having three magicians in the back when you can have three brawlers in the front gettin shit done quicker. The way the animations were I was trying to get through each battle as quickly as possible and three attackers with the right combo of accessories and abilities did the trick quite well.

I agree with you. The only problem I had was that Ming's spells were more powerful than Kaim, Seth, and Mack's attack power combined. I think I will try a new formation where Ming and Cooke are in the back, while I have Sarah, Jansen, and Mack in the front. I would use the other 4 group members to use there magic to help Ming, and let Ming do all the attacking with her composite magic.
