That sounds pretty cool. Especially the more guilds and guild quests parts. The only thing that I didn't like about Oblivion is at the end when you finish the main story line, everyone is sitting around trying to figure out who the next emperor will be and I'm like, pick me! pick me! I didn't get picked. =(. Everything else you took charge of. At least you were able to take over the Shivering Isle as Lord Sheogorath. Awesome.

- Armor and weapons designed for each class.
- Hand weapons like Brass Knuckles and Tiger Claws.
- More character customization. Be able to change the height (which would have different limits for each race) and girth (make a fat ass or a bag-o'-bones).
- A staff weapon to bop people on the head and poke a bear in the eye.
- More guilds and/or more quests for the guilds.
- A larger variety of enemies, and they level up with you (somewhat).
- Maybe have it where the smaller villages will sometimes get attacked by Raiders or Goblins and you can help the villagers (might show you on the map which places are under attack).
- Spells change as you level them up (Fire Ball 1 fires a small ball of fire, Fire Ball 4 fires one twice as big).
- Some mini-games like darts or a shooting competition.
- A larger arena where you can challenge people (and this could be an online thing as well) or you can fight monsters. As you rank up, people below you will challenge you. There would be a competition of some sort every month or every other month (in-game time, not actual time), each with a different theme (one month will be a Mage Competition, the next month will be a Grand Championship, etc.)
- More dungeons, and enemies respawn after a certain amount of time.
- Treasure chests that get refilled if in a place that has people.
- Raider and Goblin forts and raiding parties (these guys would roam around to nearby villages). Take out the fort, no more raiding parties until the enemies respawn.
- Heavy weapons and armor that are actually worth their weight (in gold and in stats).
- More attack animations.
- Cutting weapons leave cut marks that will bleed. If it hits armor, it will leave a cut mark on heavy armor, but cut through light armor in three or four hits in the same general area.
- Certain classes (like the Ranger) can fire a bow/cross bow while on a horse, but it's less accurate. Others can use a weapon (sword, spear, hammer, etc.).
- Limb damage that if severe enough, can remove the limbs/head.
- Different sounds for when something hits different materials (Leather won't have a metallic ting when hit, and blunt weapons will have more of a bang when they hit something).
- More aquatic enemies.
It sounds like you just want it to be more like Fallout with some Fable aspects. I'm sure a lot of that will be added since they probably got a lot of new ideas when they made Fallout.

And I bolded that one because choosing a class in Oblivion never told you what you could or couldn't do. It just gave you a better start for being good at certain things. So you should be able to do that regardless of class, but you will suck with accuracy if you're not some type of archer.

Eh, sort of. It would be cool to see a V.A.T.S. like thing in TES, but at the same time it wouldn't. If there were more attack animations, and the 3rd Person character models didn't look like shit, then it'd be awesome to see. Just imagine: You're on a horse, charging towards an enemy. It goes all slow-mo, and you watch your blade slice through their neck, and their head goes flying. It would be epic! Punch a guy in the face and he goes flying back twenty feet into a wall of spikes. Gruesome? Yes. Awesome? YES!!!!

Anywho, I just wish there was more to the game. Yes, it's long, but after awhile, there's no real challenge. You've done almost all of the quests, and the ones left are real easy. You're such a high level that you kill most everything in a few hits. There's not much left to do after that point. That's why there should be those competition thingies (arching, arena, etc.) More guilds with more quests, maybe even different paths that you can take. Give the players a reason to start all over again. Make spells actually look more powerful as they level up. There's a bunch of things that could make TES (and Fallout) so much better.

Yeah I agree it's going to be great, but I think they should add some stuff in. I'm working on a top ten list of things missing from Oblivion in my head; anyone have any thoughts about what they would like to see in V that wasn't in IV?

Oh, forgot something!

I want to be able to kill absolutely everybody in the game next time; if I so choose.

Make it a wasteland.

Oblivion sucked my life away, and when I finished that, I went back to Morrowind. I have no life outside of my living room. Damn Bethesda! ;) I played Fallout 3 for a while, but for some reason it triggered migraines almost every time I played. Weird. Had to quit.

I can't wait until the next ES game! I hope it's a bit darker and moodier like Morrowind. I'm actually hoping it'll be set in the Black Marsh, but maybe that's because I'm currently playing as an Argonian. I agree that we need more guilds and more guild quests. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the AI improves for the next one. Going back to Morrowind, it cracks me up how easily people get "stuck" and how you can rob their homes by going up or downstairs. They don't go anywhere. Having the NPCs have "schedules" was a fantastic innovation!

Sigh. Another year.

i think it shuld have mmo and single player in 1 game also what would be really cool is if you had the ability 2 buy any property you wanted single player and online al so wut wuld b cool is if you were able to open up a business in game i find this would especially be great online considering it would be like real life weither you wantd 2 b a business man or a thief obbing other peoples businesses.
another feature i would like to c is actual jail time not jus a small castle dungeon were you press a button to serve your time it sounds a bit far fetched but it wuld b some great features to make it a great game

As long as your PC doesn't suck hard then it should be fine. They always give you the option to tone down lots of things so it looks shittier but still runs smooth.

I agree with everything except this. Crossbows should have a slower firing rate, shorter range, but be more powerful than the bow. It takes longer to reload a Crossbow, and the sheer size of the bow allows for more range. It's more powerful because a Bow's strength depends on your own, wherein a crossbow is the mechanism involved.
