So yea, Ive been playin this on and off, not so much anymore because left for dead is AMAZING. but yea, went back to it, and the overall gayness of people jsut pisses me off so much. Im tired of getting the whole melee shotgun thing done to me. If anybody who is reading this does that, YOU ARE NOT GOOD. angers me that kids do so well by doing that. that and hte overpowered chainsaw STILL angers me. This game just pisses me off so so much. i cant stand it. only reason i still play it is cause i do love the matches when we are not playing cheapass homos. The games is SO FUN when its like that.

If your moving around I would see no way you would get hit from behind so much that it pisses you off.

The hit detection / lag is so ridiculous with this game. Which is why I stopped playing like a month ago. Shotguns would work sometimes... Sometimes they wouldnt do anything...even when you shoot them 10 times close range.
I haven't found that hit detection, lag or anything else is problematic with this game. Granted I play horde mode more than anything else but when I do play against other people I've found it to be more than decent.

I have never got so mad at a video game in my life before GOW2. I understand exactly what the OP is talking about with the hit then shoot with the shotgun. People just run around swinging and it is hard to avoid because you have to get pretty much on top of them for the shotgun to even kind of work. Horde is still a lot of fun but not fun enough for me to play Gears again. The only time I play this sorry excuse of a game is when my girlfriend is over because she loves this game. I am going to try to get her into WaW. I really feel as if play test went something like they fired it up saw the main menu pop up and cliffy b was like this is "bigger, better, and more bada**" and then they launched it. I think I am going to sell this, what a waste of $70.

I'm with. I really enjoy Gears 2 and will probablly play it for quite some time.
If you complain about lag and shotguns just play with your friends.. Last night I played a private match with members of the Apex clan atleast 10 of them.. It was a blast and I had no problems at all.

I really liked the story, a lot of people didn't but I thought it was well done. Horde mode is probably of the best additions to any game and it is a lot of fun. But now that I am done with story and Horde there is no reason to go back and play, Cliffy B and Epic ruined the multiplayer and it doesn't seem like they are tying to fix it. Which is really sad because one of my favorite games online was Gears 1, right up there with Socom 2

Yeah that is what bugs me too. Atleast last night after waiting for so long we actually got into some games that we won.
It spends 20minutes trying to find even teams... And I've never had the teams be even it is always a bunch of 2nd ranks vs 1st ranks.

If Gears 2 is a "sorry excuse for a game", then what should I call Socom Confrontation? To me, that game is much worse than Gears 2... "hot garbage" is usually what I call the new Socom game.
