Not really. It seems as though a lot of it has been fixed with the recent update. Not all, but a good amount. They would have to if you are going to get penalized for leaving a room because I wouldn't want to stay in a SUPER LAGGY room because I'll drop rank if I leave.
I understand what Albino is talking about. I never played this game, but I have played online on other games before. Usually when crap like that happens, the person is using a cheat code or disc to do that to you.
And it can happen of you have an older slower dsl connection. If you have lag, and the other players don't, you are without a doubt going to get jacked up.

Updates have fixed a lot of the problems that Gears 2 used to have. Lag isn't really bad anymore, no more lag switchers, the only action you can melee after now is a roll which takes out your run of the mill two-piecers, and many other random things. I haven't been able to play it recently but it does run better than it used to.
I've heard people say that "they made the chainsaw invincible". I agree with them. People are able to get kills too easily with chainsaw. But, I've found a weakness that's even stronger than the melee attack.

It's always been the same. If you don't give up easily, you learn that there are SO many ways around chainsaw n00bs.
I should sell my Halo 3, but I haven't gotten around to it.
Yeah, you could sell Halo 3. You could use the money to help buy gears 3, or you could get prototype. I hear it looks like a good game! I'm gonna get it. Or you could get Assassin's Creed 2 when it comes out!
